Is it not Volkswagen who actually allows people to come to the plant, shop and then order their vehicle then follow it down the production line and watch it being made right before their eyes. NOW THAT'S A TOUR TO REMEMBER. Kind of like the days before and after the Hospitals allowed Dads to be in the delivery room. Right?Personally I vote for a tram with tour guide. I have only been on one plant tour and that was in the Nash plant in Kenosha, Wisconsin in 1952. I was only 11 years old so I don't remember all the details - fragments of memory of seeing the parts being put together - but I don't know if we were walking or on a tram. Today walking a large plant would be very difficult for those of us who are the least bit limited in mobility.Z
