Does that mean not needed to reach 55 hp or that it wouldn't it wouldn't add that much more efficiency? Noticed that the target weight has been increased by about 100 lbs., so seems they would need a little more power to still achieve the same 0 - 60 goal.

Maybe because it is only a 55 cu in naturally aspirated engine?
Lets look at 55 cu in, 55 hp, 55 ft lb torque, naturally aspirated!
And it's not direct injected!
Lots of room to grow!

Yea, the suzuki g10 engine had the same power. It was designed almost 30 yrs ago. I think they could do better than 55HP though.

I missed that.
Where did you hear that?
Right when they did the first engine dyno test; it was more of a side note mention in the newsletter discussing the engine development.
This was 2 years ago (2014). Before when all they were discussing was the engine, there were a number of press releases and news letters that covered nothing but engine development.

Not needed after dyno testing.
What? Oh lordy if anyone else had said that.. It's not April is it? K, that's why you earn the big bucks( it's a joke guys!), always keeping up on the details.
I did miss that one. And that is the last word yes?
Can you point me to the exact reference I'd like to mull over all the details.
