The Morgan 3 Wheeler

Was waiting for my son to finish up his workout when a gentleman pulled up in the Morgan. Talked to him for a few minutes. He said unless you have more money than God don't own one . He said his last repair bill was more than the Elio. Had an Elio information card which I passed over . It was really cool when he drove away . Big attention getter but I believe the Elio will be the same attention draw.

A company has produced a replica of the old Morgan three wheeled sports car and

At 1200 pounds, the Morgan weighs virtually the same as the Elio and has an 82 HP two
cylinder V twin motorcycle engine. Runs to 60 in under 6 seconds.

hmmmm, $45k est cost? Kind of far away from $6800.
And i bet it will get no where close to 84 MPG.
But i do like the looks of it. But i am kind of a old car kind of guy.
And i love unusual looking cars.
That is why i have a reservation for a Polaris Slingshot.
Unusual, and will blow the doors off that Morgan, LOL

Cool, you are getting a Slingshot? Color, options, when do you expect delivery?

I am going for the base model grey with the full blade windshield and the infotainment system with back up camera. I liked the red, but it didn't look like it was a fire engine red, and i think the grey makes it look like the batmobile, LOL.
I didn't think $1800 for the wheels was worth it. I could get a really cool set of aftermarket wheels for that, and they will look better too.
Dealer said it should be in before Christmas.
And Wheaters, the doors from the other cars ripped off and flying in the wake of the SlingShot will slam in place on the Morgan and then be ripped back off, LOL
Still can't wait for the Elio though.

over the weekend I watched a TV report on the Morgan Motor Company .... they appear to be a throwback to the days when hand crafted vehicles were produced by folks who take pride in their work .... its not a vehicle I have any desire to own but as with most every car and truck I've very seen, I have no doubt I'd enjoy a test drive

I already have my DVR set to record this one!
I love the How It's Made series anyhow and their Dream Cars episodes have been pretty good overall even if the writing can be a bit odd at times.
