MTX says they are making a modular system. I would bet the base model will be just a regular radio but if you want to upgrade, you'll be able to pop out the control head and install the one with the tablet support... Amazon sells a kindle fire for $50 and you can put in a micro SD card for your music. At that price, I'd just buy one especially for the car and leave it in there all the time.

I'm not really a fan of Bluetooth. Device pairing is always clunky and, in my experience, it'll just not work at all on occasion. I'd rather have a stereo mini AUX port. It's simple, reliable, cheap, sound quality is better and works with basically anything that will play audio.

If EM takes much longer to produce the Elio, it'll be more long-in-the-tooth than bluetooth.
