Yes, even if the cars on both sides are parked on the white line, you will still be able to open your car door. If they are parked proper, their door will not reach the side of your car.

I thought it would be fun to look at some of the benefits an Elio owner may encounter once we get them. We all know about the gas milage, price, etc..., but lets think outside the box.

For example, in many states a motorcycle can occupy the HOV lane without a passenger. So I can see a benefit of driving in the HOV lane legally with just one occupant. Go Elio!
