I definitely prefer composite panels as opposed to metal panels.

I believe composite panels will be much more quiet than metal panels.

This would be a good thing to clear up in a future email from Elio Motors.

Living in the RUST belt. I too favor SMC panels :D
Heh. I remember reading one about a guy who was nearing retirement. He took care of the steam system in the coach yard of one of the Chicago commuter rail lines, back in the days before head end power, when the coaches were still heated by steam. His boss routinely verbally abused him, and otherwise treated him terribly. One of his co workers asked him why he put up with it. He asked this guy if he had ever seen a diagram of the yard's steam piping. Co worker said that he never had. He said that that's because it's all in my head, and when I go, it goes with me... :D

I have a similar situation....

I "OFFICIALLY" retired today......

We changed the way we did banking (software) and NO one else wanted to learn my job......
needless to say.... the knowledge sits in my head here while I enjoy my lunch with my bride .....
I'm expecting a call around the end of the month .....
Hope they can afford my "consulting fee" :p

I am so happy to hear of your "retirement". I have "retired" 3 times now. I am now in the middle of a new development that I have been asked to document as I build. They WILL ask you to consult or to return part-time That will give you and the bride more time to enjoy the Elio. Remember to ask to be kept on the health plan while you travel. Stay active, start on the bucket list.

Congratulations on your retirement. It will allow you to get ready to receive your Elio:D and get your garage ready for it.

Did anyone happen to notice the leftover GM truck chassis left sitting in the abandoned assembly line. LOL Also I had to stop three or four times to rest eat lunch and such because of the tour length. No way the assembly line could really be that long.
