Great Idea Injun but I can't even get them to print a plate attached to mine verifying the manufactured number. Even a Paper certificate would add value to the collector value.
Ever thought about having your own certificate printed, and just having them sign it? Maybe with a selfie or something?

Will there be a heated side mirrors,if not this could be a safety issue with the winters in NW Ohio. you would not have visibility on cold days?
I have never owned a vehicle with heated mirrors. I just scrape the frost off, first thing. I cant remember them ever "re-freezing" while I'm driving.

Maybe we won't realize it until we have to use the rearview mirror and there won't be one,i don't have much luck scrapping ice off the windows not to mention a mirror, not good on them anyway.

For some number of cars there is a bit of air leakage out through the mirrors. Keeps them clear of new ice and will clear them over time frozen or not.
The other case is all cars have an air-flow directed at the windows between driver and mirror. If it is an integrated mirror (not out on a pole) this does help create a warm air pocket just outside, just enough to help keep that clear.

Note: never stated as a promise by automakers, but they do design for that. It may not even be conscious. They may have arrived at this though all weather testing of their product. Mirrors with these features just stay clear (more often).
