You mean government authorized tax payer funded stadiums, arenas, and auto industries. I agree that should not be the role of government however if they "saved" GM & Chrysler then a few dollars to get Elio started seems appropriate. Let's support the little guy for a change

Keep in mind that GM and Chrysler have paid back those 'loans' and the US gov't has made millions on selling back stock options and saved many USA Auto Jobs in the process. Elio's agreement definitely would put auto workers back to work boosting the Shreveport economy by using shared Gov't and private funding. A win win. I hope the deal on the GM Plant is not in jeopardy.

Ah yes, the lovely Stephanie Lynch. That is the one. I know of all the commissioners, she was the only one who was against Paul Elio so she had to file her law suit as a private citizen. I suspect you are right about this being a Louisiana Bog.

That is an underststatement. She claims everybody wants this to fall through and yet she is the only one of the commissioners who is against it. I thought there was another woman on the commission but maybe not. This may be the battle against the good ole boys network. Sad, because I sincerely believe she is doing Elio a great disservice. :-) Z

Actually, Elio postponed the Louisiana showing because they needed to get the Elio to New York for the Fox & Friends interview. Instead of an afternoon at a hotel parking lot they will be rescheduling an entire weekend later in the summer.

Knowing you are satisfied with that is good enough for me..Can you answer why out of the 16,000 claimed reservations less than 1000 have showed up in this site to weigh in ?
