So why were you at Messiah rehearsal? Got a talent that we don't know about?

Yep. I've been a serious singer for decades -- still take lessons twice a month (and am still improving. It's endless). Lyric baritone with 2.7 octave range. Do a little solo work, understudy sometimes (I've done all the baritone pieces in Carmina Burana, which ain't easy), but mainly am a choral singer. Currently sing with three groups: Musica Sacra in Cincinnati, OH, Lebanon Symphony Orch, and Kentucky Symphony Orch. (That last is demanding but a ball -- 5 rehearsals and "go!", so you'd better be on your toes -- but they don't need the chorus very often). I've lost count of Messiah performances, but I think this is number 12 or so. Full score, no cuts, bring your sleeping bags and a camp stove, it's a marathon.

Indeed, I am excited about the Elio. I'm all-in, after all. However, there's a difference between being excited for it and sounding like a paid-for shill. I hang up on *ALL* telemarketers for a reason. If any person I knew were to become a telemarketer, I absolutely would think less of them for it. And the suggested email? That's a telemarketer script if I ever read one.

i don't care for the telemarketers much either and i hang up when i happen to answer one i did not catch on the answering machine, but hey they are trying to earn a living. got to give them a bit of credit there! at least one that is not on welfare. but if people did not fall for the scams then they would go away. they do make them clever though.
as far as that first post some will send it out. i won't as i don't send out that type of mail but i'm not knocking him down he is excited about his future elio. way to go.

Telemarketing is the reason we disconnected our land line over a year ago. No matter how many times we added it to the national no call list, we still got 20 calls a week at dinner time. That dosen't even include the charities and political calls we got. Back on subject....... We are also all for the Elio with 2 "All In" reservations. We'll let our actions speak for us, in how feel about our little babies. I've informed most of my friends and family at least those I think maybe interested, as for others I'll answer any question, I know the answer to or refer them to EM web site.

LOL. Amen. I used to run a porn site as a hobby. It got mentioned in Playboy and I promptly got rid of it. It actually became *work*!

Hmmm..... You're against people "promoting" things they believe in because you hate telemarketers and for some odd reason equate it as being the same, but you have admitted that you once had been a slimy porn site operator..... Kind of a hypocrite wouldn't you say? I would say that a lot more people would look down on a porn site operator than they would to a telemarketer.

I hate telemarketers too, but I'm wondering why you bother to compare me to them ? I'm not using a telephone to intrude on people when they might be busy, email is the least intrusive way to communicate with others.
