Rest assured, every single Elio Motors team member is working diligently every day to get us closer to production. All we ask is for your patience and support as we continue this journey. The Elio is revolutionizing the way people will commute and we look forward to the day you take delivery of your Elio. That day is coming.l

"All we ask is for your patience"...

"The Elio is revolutionizing the way people will commute"

What BS...

You going to have to show me the post on this one. I have never DRANK THAT MUCH to say that I don't think.
If I did I'm going to AA.
Someone is conning you, anyway I could never spell diligently.

That's Paul Elio remark.

Look I am in the same boat with everyone, and misinformation is not always a lie (if you ask me the time and my watch is wrong, do you accuse me of lying about the time?) I think there is a lot we don't know, maybe when he made statements there were factors to make him believe what he was saying and then something changed, deals fell through, people backed out. Or maybe he was just lying the whole time. I don't know, you don't know, but anytime someone tries to sell me a car I know I am in for some truth stretching (little old lady only drove it to church).
It all comes down to MONEY and Elio Motors has run out.

I think it's officially Nasysayer Day........enjoy it.

Given Mr Elio inability to bring the Elio Vehicle to the market place in 7 years...who wouldn't be a naysayer...

There's a reason he can't locate funding for further R&D development...he has not verified there's any validity to his dream...

250,000 annual units...$6,800 base price...49/84 MPG...5 Star saftey rating...all empty marketing claims...

But...he is excellent at making promises...and promises...and promises......................................

I don't want to get too philosophical and yet I would like to say something. This is based on the explosion of negative comments about Elio, above what has already been said prior to the push-back date. I have no other investment than the $1000 and so there is no other motivation in what I say.

I feel it is a little strange how negativism can change one's perspective and influence others to join in the misery. It creates contention without regard to facts or truth. It makes perceptions seem factual, and then followed by rationalizing of thoughts/actions. It is like a cancer and spreads faster than good news. Why? I don't know. To be blind is to be ignorant and also negative. This is because negativism blinds you to only see what supports the negative perspective and justifies the insults and attacks upon someone or something that is believed to have offended. Fault finding creates disappointment and frustration that feeds on its self and destroys. Some say they're providing information. Is the information provided to help and educate or to tear down? Negativism is a master of disguise and is tumultuous.

I can understand disappointment and frustration. I have had plenty in my life to the point of utter anguish. But I refuse to destroy the remainder of my existence focusing on the bad and allow it to steal my future. I find it hard to walk forward when looking backwards. We can learn from the past but we must look forward to move on. I can admit that I have had my share of negative thoughts in life but I try to push them out and it isn't easy. The negative thoughts do not go without kicking and screaming! It is easier to not let them in!

I joined the All-In with the hopes of obtaining an Elio. This dream has been pushed off but isn't gone. I have a family member that has stated they "bought in" based on my enthusiasm, and now saying it is my fault that they joined this. Saying that it will never happen. When I have shown them many positive sides they focus on the several production schedule push-back negatives only. They have called me a "spinner" when doing so. If I am a spinner for seeing the many positives compared to the few negatives... then I must be.

I do not think Paul Elio is trying to make anything bad look as if it were good. This is the definition of a spinner. I admire and appreciate the letter.

I have decided to provide several quotes from a person that has had failures and successes. So pick a quote that may help press forward thru struggles you are dealing with in life. If you have an uplifting quote add it to the chain. Thanks for reading.

Great post. You are correct, all that is lost is a grand. Unfortunately you cannot measure disappointment.

As for Edison, Paul Elio is no Edison, wih he was even close.

Very well said!
It tickles me to see the same people, who in the recent past, likened us to "lemmings", blindly following. Now they are saying..."it's all over...time to give up. Lets all go jump off the cliff!" So, now that you all are "sure" that "It's over", maybe you will stop wasting your time on this worthless forum. ;) :)

Here is what I AM sure of...If EM does not make it happen, NO ONE EVER WILL. I am still convinced that EM's intentions are honorable and will continue to support this worthwhile cause. Am I blind? NO. I know this is a risk. But I do have a backbone. I am not a jellyfish. I will not be pushed by this "toxic wave" of doubt.

I can't wait to see the engine on Feb. 6th. :)
