I hate that. I would like to see her finish. I keep trying to understand why she doesn't finish closer to the front. I think she is too good to just be an also-ran each time.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. will retire following the 2017 NASCAR season, Hendrick Motorsports announced Tuesday in a press release.

Doesn't surprise me at all.
I think the only reason he came back is because of contracts he already had worked out.
I was just surprised when he first came back at all, after last year. I figured when his crew figured out just how "jumbled" he was, he wouldn't be back.
When he did, I was truly surprised, so he announcing this isn't a surprise to me at all.
