Well said. I can respect someone's position (i.e. Manager, President, professor, scientist) but not respect the person holding that position. Trust must be earned and does not automatically carry over to the position.

Just when I getting into the memory lane trip about TV cowboy heroes, this thread took a turn to pre-spy series. o_O Did all you kiddies miss out on the early ones like Hopalong Cassidy with Gabby Hayes before he became Roy Rogers sidekick? Also, how about Gene Autry and Smiley Burnette or Cisco Kid and Pancho? Now I'm really showing my age.

I'm guessing this was in black and white.

I go back even further then black & white TV. We didn't even get our first TV until 1947. Before that our entertainment was listening to radio shows like Challenge of the Yukon (Sgt Preston), Dick Tracy and Flash Gordon.

Stop it! You're making me feel younger and older at the same time! It's very um....weird. Remembers the old B&W at great-grandma's house and our B&W w/the UHF tuner. Dad had 3 TV remotes otherwise known as his children.
