"Possibly" they got a deal on the chrome hood pins. Leftovers from the '80s. Cheapest supplier gets the contract, right?

There may yet be a conventional latch. This is an item that is officially still "undecided."

Leave the chrome hoodpins alone............add more chrome..........door handles and gas tank lid.

Perhaps a chrome body wrap to color match the hood pins.

LOL... Funny. Those cars with chrome gas caps. We'll probably see an Elio like that. It'll have a chrome gas cap, chrome door handles and ridiculous chrome around the windows and that's it. Makes me laugh (and cringe) just thinking about it.

I see your looking for, and unless you're painting it yourself, y _ _ _ow is not an option, Jerome mentioned to me, they will, after the first year, see which color is the least selected and then remove it and put in the y_ _ _ ow

Those chrome hood pins need to be anodized black or color-matched to the hood. There's no other chrome on the vehicle.

Leave 'em.

Together with the chrome badge, they break up the monotony.
Otherwise, the front end is just a tad too plain jane for me.
I'll be putting "chrome" plastic wheel covers on the rims.
Those black steel wheels peeking out are atrocious!
