Last night's Cardinals vs Seahawks game was a battle of great defenses and horrible offenses. Double overtime and it ends in a 6-6 tie. Neither looked like potential division winners

Agree. Ugliest and most frustrating game ever for both teams.

And ties should never happen in professional sports. Baseball has it right there, play until someone wins.

Slight correction; Overtime (1) not Double Overtime (2)
During the regular season they only play a single overtime; but come playoff time, they have different rules:

So during the playoffs, after the 4th Overtime you go to sudden death; and after playing that long, that's not hard to imagine; by then your starters are burned out , your 2nd string plays have played more than they have all year, the coaches are running out of ideas , and the 3rd stringers are looking to make an impression.

Yeah, it sucks to watch your team poorly execute... Falcons/Seahawks... I know how you feel... Falcons could (should?) easily be 6-1 right now.
