Hey guys here is what i got back from Eilo as a response on the p3 vs p4 issue:

Also, you can upgrade by clicking on "Reserve Your Elio" and then "Upgrade!"
We understand that some people are partial to the old design.
The changes that were made were to improve on aerodynamics, to achieve the 84 mpg.
There will be an after-market company that will change out the wheel covers for the old look, but it'll lose on some gas mileage. Totally up to you.

Michael, where did you get the photo? If you did the Photoshop rendering to the photo shown - awesome job!!! You made me see the P4 in a different light!! I'm growing to like it now!

Steve, if they could make it look that good from the factory i would change my opinion too. Bottom of page is what i got back on P3 vs P4 from the company. Double D in Ohio oops when I posted this comment what I got is directly ahead of this.

Hi #466 I to liked the p3 much better, the look has been changed to the point that I'm not sure I'd have sighed up for it. I live in the UP of Michigan & am quit sure snow and slush will get packed inside those fenders to the point the wheels may tear them off. Even if it doesn't how will you get it out, seems using it in winter may not be possible under many conditions. Please make the original fenders available. Also it would be nice to get an e-mail once in awhile asking what we think. I'm anxious to see some activity at the plant in Louisiana.

Also Harold I'm in Ohio and I have suggested they come up with a set of outriggers as an Option that tie into the braking system for us folks up north so the third wheel isn't dragging over the snow and slush in the middle of the roadway. Best way to get a quick response from them is to go on FaceBook to the Home page. Heard it is so bad at the straits today they closed the Bridge , Never heard of that happening before. Wish I could take credit but took it off Elio facebook site a fan with some made photoshop skills posted. He did a bunch of variations which helped to see the potential.
