If you hunt to kill ! say no, if you hunt to eat I say yes, we each find our own path. I know that turkey's are a super smart bird, and it takes great skill to succeed-
Indeed RUCRAYZE. I never said I was a "good hunter". Mostly just enjoy going through the motions. If My family depended on me to take legal game, we would be vegans too! Last year, I would have stood a better chance with a tennis racket, than a shotgun on opening day. Three gobblers flew within 3 feet of me. Once we were eye to eye, they were GONE!:(

BWahahaha! That has to be one of the funniest things I've ever seen! To me, The sport is enjoyable. Scouting, planning, finding your way through the dark woods with a flashlight, to the place you found in the daylight, and patience. When you're "still" in the woods, you would be suprised what you'll see. Once, while deer hunting on the ground, I saw what I thought was someone's escaped pet Ferret. It got within 4-5 feet of me before I spooked it off. Turns out, Mink are in east TN, but VERY rare in number, much less to see. I saw one that day, and will never forget it!

When ever the EPA commissions a study, they already know what the results of that study will be. The reason of a study is not to learn something. The reason is to create an excuse for regulation. I suspect the EPA has a collection of studies they can pull out anytime they feel the need to regulate something.

This week, the House of Representatives approved my [ Representative Lamar Smith ] bill, the Secret Science Reform Act of 2015 (H.R. 1030), with a bipartisan vote of 241-175. The bill would require the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to base its regulations on the best available science that is publicly available.

Emphasis is mine.

I hear the White House plans to veto it if it gets there.

Wouldn't need to propose such an act if there wasn't a perceived problem. Makes me curious how many laws were enacted by the EPA that were based on BS. o_O

https://www.govtrack.us/congress/bills/114/hr1030

Passed the House, but they're giving it an 11% chance of making it through the Senate.

copy/paste of the summary:

Full Title

To prohibit the Environmental Protection Agency from proposing, finalizing, or disseminating regulations or assessments based upon science that is not transparent or reproducible.
