Wouldn't need to propose such an act if there wasn't a perceived problem. Makes me curious how many laws were enacted by the EPA that were based on BS. o_O

https://www.govtrack.us/congress/bills/114/hr1030

Passed the House, but they're giving it an 11% chance of making it through the Senate.

copy/paste of the summary:

Full Title

To prohibit the Environmental Protection Agency from proposing, finalizing, or disseminating regulations or assessments based upon science that is not transparent or reproducible.
"based on bull sh*t"?? well there are many laws concerned about BS- one of the most polluting CO2 emissions on the planet comes out a bovine's rear-lol. When do you guys sleep? I turn-in at a normal 11-12, awake 7 to see threads yards long!!

Great idea! Now how about a bill to govern health care and certain other legislation: No agency's actions shall be mandated based upon religious convictions. That would stop a lot of posturing for sure.

Elected representatives make laws.
That's what we elect them to do.
Agencies do not make law. They promulgate regulations that are supposed to implement the laws enacted by elected representatives.
Congress has the lawful right to regulate governmental agency's actions.

...Congress has the lawful right to regulate governmental agency's actions.

...Unless one branch has a pen and a Blackberry. Maybe it's just me, but it seems like the "checks and balances" of the three branches aren't so 'balanced'...and haven't been for some time. It's easy for me to point out a problem from my "arm-chair", but damned if I know how to fix it if the elected representatives flip-flop on the issues they ran on to get elected. :(

BWahahaha! That has to be one of the funniest things I've ever seen! To me, The sport is enjoyable. Scouting, planning, finding your way through the dark woods with a flashlight, to the place you found in the daylight, and patience. When you're "still" in the woods, you would be suprised what you'll see. Once, while deer hunting on the ground, I saw what I thought was someone's escaped pet Ferret. It got within 4-5 feet of me before I spooked it off. Turns out, Mink are in east TN, but VERY rare in number, much less to see. I saw one that day, and will never forget it!
Yes, and the heartpounding excitement when a grizzly bear or mountain lion springs up from behind or above the hunter and "surprise" the hunter becomes the hunted.
