But you don't know which ones you can skip until you read them.:p
Bryan, welcome to the forum. You can quickly scroll through them and simply ignore some of them. It will take a little time but soon you will have a feel for what is important and what is trash. Using the search function will help you quickly learn all about this amazing vehicle. The forum has the latest information and plenty of friendly helpful people. Thanks for joining this historic transportation adventure and I hope you will find it entertaining and rewarding.

I've been stalking the forums for quite a while. Just got around to actually joining. I've been keeping up, was just commenting for the other guy.

As far as this thread goes, my situation is the same as the guy from Hot Springs... It's only slightly farther for me to go to the plant than it is for me to go to the closest available dealership, which is Memphis. However, in speaking with the VP at an event, he thought that they made an exception to the "Top 60 Markets" in order to put on in Little Rock, you know, state capital, rural area, lots of distance commuters, and all.. It does not show up on the map yet, but by the time they get going there may be one.

So yeah, I'm heading to the plant. It would be silly not to.

I'll only do the tour thing if it is considerably cheaper for me to fly down there and drive back over having it delivered to me. But I highly doubt that will be the case. Plus, I'm chickens*it and don't want to drive 736 miles in a vehicle I'm not certain about yet. If it's going to have problems I'd rather be near home and not hundreds of miles away by myself.

In my defense... it's a pretty long thread....

This ain't a long thread! On another forum I am involved in there is a thread that started nearly 4 years ago and is 1,534 pages long with 30,668 responses and 300,661 views! 375 of those posts are from me, lol :)

I would do a Few Hours tour. If it was really interesting maybe I would come back for more. Absolutely I will fly there and pick up the car IF the $750 delivery fee is waived. Otherwise there is no point.

If the $750 (or more) becomes mandatory, then it's NOT a $6,800 car, it's $7,550 + tax, lic, & "documentation" :p

Interesting Bryan didn't know they were going to put a center in Little Rock that would be cool!

I'm not sure a plant tour or picking up your Elio at the manufacturing plant was under consideration by those in charge at Elio Motors at the beginning. I believe these two options came about through input from reservation holders over the last year. We are all part of a unique process where our input is watched and positive decisions are made from that information.

Don't be afraid to voice your opinion, gather some supporters and effect the direction of this company.
