Trunk Questions

Just informed wife, once the Elio is here she will have a new job: tailgunner.

That would be a GR8 deterrent to tail gating. When I'm out on the road, I don't have much trouble with tailgaters as I tend to out run most of them, but in my 3 block commute to work I have found that I can safely pull out in front of any thing, with in reason, Smaller (than my mid size SUV), More Expense (Jag, BMW, late model Cads, etc.) with no problems. The Long trailer hitch might help some on small cars.

A sign, mounted on the hatch, that states 'AS AN NRA MEMBER I DON'T TOLERATE TAIL GATING' would be cheaper and still get the point across. I remember the mud flaps that stated 'Back Off' with the figure of 'Sam'.

With so much concern over what will or won't fit in the trunk I'm surprised no one has mentioned the hitch-mount luggage rack again. Still think you could have a lot more cargo room by taking the back seat out entirely.
