2017 Production A Long Shot...

We all know it's a high-risk situation. But that doesn't mean the world is going to end. To continue your Columbus metaphor, the boats may be leaking but they are still afloat. And every so often something good happens as the good ship Elio struggles to make the distant Shore.

PART 1-Well, ELIO or ARCIMOTO to me is a dream that probably won't happen. Both are blowing smoke, as a good carnival barker, PT Barnum would be proud of..Might as well of reserved a flying car.

can't offer any info on the Arcimoto .... some of our folks have followed it closely, hopefully they might be able to help in this area .... personally, it isn't a vehicle I have any interest in .... I'd like to see it succeed in the same way I hope for the best for all legal small businesses .... if it doesn't, I really couldn't care less .... with EM, its certain that its evolution hasn't been one of steady, smooth progress .... delays (some of their making, some over which they had no control) have happened .... progress is being made and (thankfully) in recent weeks there have been some tangible advances .... my belief is, it will happen and I do feel the smoke analogy is factually misplaced ....

PART 2-

If I was ELIO or supreme ruler of the Universe.. That FIRST 100 WOULD NOT GO TO SOME SECRET PREDETERMINED FLEET USE... BUT----
Kind of Like Willie Wonka's Golden Ticket.. By totally random LOTTERY to everyone that was all in prior to build date. If they declined purchase, the unit would go to a reserve lottery pick. Think of the publicity!! Think of the additional reservations!! Willie Wonka at his finest....

BTW- isn't that how it was kind of supposed to work from the beginning?? I don't remember when I made my all in reservation there was a - First 100 exemption..

as noted, the first 100 have been reserved all along ... the only apparent difference is with them going into fleet service EM real world testing will take place but the company will be getting paid for them .... bringing in money is huge and EM's management is doing what it has to do to keep the funds coming in so as to be able to move toward production

PART 3-

I feel like I'm sailing with Christopher Columbus. I can see past the deck, and am not seeing the end of the earth, But I'm seeing the same thing I saw yesterday and the day before..

while this analogy probably reflects what you have seen, it in no way reflects what is there to be seen .... I don't know anyone who wouldn't like more info but the reality is, EM has been bitten by folks who for whatever reason hate this company .... they twist and manipulate what info they have to suit their agenda .... going public has also narrowed the nature and scope of info they can release .... I'm not going to even attempt to list the milestones, go back, do some reading, and you will find a growing list of major companies coming on board, advances up to the P5, production of the E series is underway, company going public, etc, etc, etc

I'm trying to forget the regretful decision to give Paul Elio $1,000, and I find it comical that people STILL think they will ever see one of these in their driveway. Wake up people-it's never going to happen. Lesson learned for me.
