Well done Joe!
A few things that impressed me:
1: (Sounds like) the front wheel covers will be ONE PIECE, instead of having the flat black rear sections "removable"...So, 2 bolts will remove the entire shroud. This should simplify production & lower cost.
2) (Looks like) the windshield wiper assembly has been finished...looks good.
3) Good looking grill! I couldn't tell if it's "honeycomb" or "large holes", but looks professional.
4) The right side "insert" (red piece) looks to be more than just a flat piece of red plastic. It appears to be "contoured" and more "finished."
5) Seeing the Roush designed front suspension! (Roush doesn't waste their time on "loosers")
6) The front tires are the actual Conti's to be used for the production Elios. I can't remember the last time Continental designed and produced tires for a "SCAM." :boink: ( a little "jab" at the trolls)

Lots of good changes! a few steps closer. :clap2: :clap2:

You make a good point which I don't think I've recognized myself. As I mentioned, I have not been happy with the answers Jerome was giving. I think it's because, as you've point out, this could very well just be considered the P6. I have noticed that this is the E1-c. What is the 1 for? Elio appears to have just changed the name of the P series to E series. Initially, I believed that a lot more would have been finalized in the E series. Maybe the E2's which will be at the show next year will be close to the final units...

I think others that have expressed in Elio (and then get attacked for having a different opinion) are seeing the same thing. Elio is spinning wheels on "busy work" while Paul hopes to find the motherload of funding. Is there a single person who would choose not to buy and Elio if the gas was on the other side, the Elgin dash was used, the emblem wasn't pretty on the stearing wheel, the headlights weren't LED, the trunk latch wasn't robust,... My 1st post said it appeared there was poor project management. It may just be there is no funding to get the project done and the workers are just doing busy work.

I don't recall "hearing" or seeing that the headlights aren't going to be LED. I also don't recall hearing "officially" that they will be LED. Would you please explain why you feel this way?

The front wheel cover sit higher than previous covers

If you notice, you can see more of the tire and rim now; should make it a lot less prone to being "curbed" this way.

The front suspension has gone through some "beefing up" on the lower end; you can see that in this shot:

It appears to be more open on the body side than the P5.

And don't you love the high tech method of attaching the brake line and wire for the TPMS ;)

Well let's look at appearance

In the top picture notice the little square chip in the middle of the headlight; that's an LED chip

Also, being a LED is the only way that particular turn signal will project amber light the way it is right now.
A halogen would have to have some kind of amber lens or reflector for the light to pass through or reflect from.

Jermaine said they still have halogens in the rear @16:20.
I would imagine that they'll change those to LEDs because LEDs are now cheap as dirt.

I certainly hope so. Being an electrician, I enjoy the benefits of LED.

I thought I heard from the video that the black box closest to the port side is the fuse box and the one more to the center and the driver is the battery.
I also believe they said the filler was moving to the port side and the bulge was gone. Something about routing the exhaust inside the frame. I agree that sounds like a significant change.
The battery is down low; i think. unless they've gone away from the gel type motorcycle battery they were using, the black box isn't it. besides, no cables appear to exit the box.

Half of the battery appears to be hidden beneath the black box Ekh.
You can see one of the "old school" lead top terminals (disconnected) in the pictures.

That would be more the footprint of a small automotive battery.
