Sun Visors , Sun Roof, Moon Roof, Glass Roof, Convertible?

before I buy one, I'll have my repair shop look at it......

Anybody hear about Elios coming out with a soft top?

Hi Marknoah60, welcome to the forum. I found it best to use the search to learn about the car and to keep from double posting when I first started. Just search convertible and sun roof at the top. I think you will find about 60 to 100 post on the subjects. Don't forget to get on the map and If your Military, please stop in and introduce yourself.

Welcome Mark, a sun roof is one of the announced options, convertible/soft top is not.

For states that have passed an autocycle law, a convertible would be problematic. The autocycle bills I've seen use an enclosed cab as one of the qualifiers. If you put the top down, you aren't enclosed and all of the sudden, you're riding a motorcycle!

I would think a glass roof might be possible or a sliding convertible roof like a fiat 500. Aftermarket will probably support such modifications.

Might not be an option for production since it would drastically alter the aerodynamics and give a major hit to the mpg rating.
