Agreed except for the trike part. There is no way a trike would ever be stable enough to road race. When I come out of turn 4 at MAM the lateral Gs are so hard my keys stand straight out of the ignition. It would be impossible to put any significant lateral load on an Elio without it tumbling...

I'm about 4 hours from the nearest pep boys too but really don't care. I'm 90 miles from the nearest Mazda dealer and own 2 Miatas but have never been there either. You live in the heartland and you either do for yourself or make the trip.
