Actually, Elio postponed the Louisiana showing because they needed to get the Elio to New York for the Fox & Friends interview. Instead of an afternoon at a hotel parking lot they will be rescheduling an entire weekend later in the summer.

If not mistaking, I think GM paid back Tarp monies with Tarp money they had received and put in escrow, before they got the bailout. They repaid the rest with stock, most of which the government sold at a loss and still own some. JMOKeep in mind that GM and Chrysler have paid back those 'loans' and the US gov't has made millions on selling back stock options and saved many USA Auto Jobs in the process. Elio's agreement definitely would put auto workers back to work boosting the Shreveport economy by using shared Gov't and private funding. A win win. I hope the deal on the GM Plant is not in jeopardy.
You are correct, nothing in Article 1, Section 8 about jobs. In fact, 75% of the stuff the government does today is not mentioned in it. JMOJobeleca, yeah I was told the government shouldn't do jobs you can find somebody else to do out of the yellow pages. I want to do some more research as too why they stepped in.
